Two women have been charged with aggravated rape of a woman in Rissne, located north of Stockholm, earlier this year, as reported by Expressen. The women, both in their 20s, are also facing charges for unlawful threats. According to the prosecutor, the women repeatedly threatened the victim with death.
In May, police were called to an address in Rissne, where they arrested seven individuals suspected of rape. Five of those arrested, all men, were later released. However, their presence at the scene is believed to have further endangered the victim, according to the prosecutor.
Both women deny the charges.
